In Canada there was a pianist called Glenn Gould who used to wear gloves in summer. Do you generally love to wear gloves or when specifically do you like to wear them? and what type?

Interesting!
I use them in winter, it's rare because in Brazil we have hot winters, lol.
Normal gloves, not long gloves!

Tasia, I'm from Brazil too! I went to São Paulo last month and I almost freezed!! I wore gloves and scarfs all the time!! I'm from Amazonas, so I'm used to over 32 degrees. I got ill, had a bad cold and, I don't know how we call it in english, but for us is "reumatismo" -.-

I like to wear dresses. Fresh ones. It's very hot here. now it's unusually cold, and I spend my days in my old pajamas :D

Wonderful thread!
Constantinople, your friends have actually attempted to burn those loafers? How dare they! Did you rescue them at the last minute?

I have two favorite pieces of clothing...one is a bright-green hoodie, nothing written on it...just green. I wear it everywhere, even in hot weather because it's so comfortable. The second thing is a sea-green (I like green, yes :D) cotton dress from United Colors of Benetton that's great for summer.

It gets pretty warm in the summer, up to 100 F sometimes, but not too bad. I live in Kentucky :)
Brazil sounds much more interesting.

Yes, I heard Kentucky gets quite hot at summer.
Brazil is nice too, I live in a very hot city. But I'd love to go to Kentucky. I doubt it gets so hot as here. Sometimes it's just pretty annoying. We get over 35 degrees (Celsius)   ;D

Do you think that is hot?  Today it reached 48 celsius and it is not the hottest month yet.  It was humid too.

Cool topic! For me it depends. If I'm not staying in then there are these one pair of kinda stretchy really comfy jeans that I've had for a long time, and I were them more than my other jeans.

If I'm staying in I like just staying in my pj's.   :)

My most favourite piece of clothing to wear, would be a long-sleeved horizontally-striped sweater/shirt. It has long wide navy-coloured stripes, silhouetted with similarly-sized gray stripes. I have no clue why, but I hold it to me as if someone will take it away from me... weird :P

Re Reply Number #26:   Quoting the "mystery" of why a preference for a certain sweater/shirt......."long-sleeved horizontally-striped .....shirt......long wide navy-coloured stripes, silhouetted with similiarly-sized gray stripes.... (actually the stripes are best described as alternating, and the original unused color would be white, not gray - AP).........I have no clue why."    IMO, may I suggest that this "mystery" may be easily solved.  It sounds EXACTLY like a modern rendition of a Russian sailor's undershirt................but then I feel that you would know that.....  Thus, it may potentially remain a "mystery."    Regards,  AP.

I didn't know it would be alternating.... But it is my most favourite article of clothing I have, And A.P. the sweater or shirt as it is best described looks something like this: or exactly like this...

now the gray stripes are the same on my shirt, where you say the thick, black looking stripes, mine are a navy blue.

God Bless!

Thank you for your response (I see that you have replaced your original reply in Reply # 28).  As your postings are indeed public, to the expressed exclusion of no one, it would certainly seem that any related information to your wonderment would be cogent in potentially helping you in your search for understanding.  And by the way, you misquoted: I did NOT use the word "black" in my Reply #27.  I used your quote of "navy-coloured," as indeed the originals were/are, though obviously much thinner in depth than your illustration.    Regards,  AP.
