Queen Olga is close to Thyra because she was easy to get along with, Dagmar because she was close to her homeland (Russia). I think Alexandra was closer to her brother George I than to his wife (just by comparison only).  ;)

I have much bigger version of that picture and honestly I can't see Thyra there or Olga of Greece neither.

That photo is not on the Polar Star.  It appears to be one of the paddle yachts....possibly the yacht  "Power".
