I would just like to ass that according to my information these meddals were made to commemorate the miraculous survival of the Imperial family after 1888 Borki train disaster.

I don't think so. Alix pose was the best selling of the cdvs in Britian and aboard. I think the others copy it (no doubt they did it in private before).

I ve seen pictures of common people posing like that. Maybe Alix did that pose popular but there s no doubt it was a common a popular pose back in those years.,

It could be a pose that Alix made popular. The huge success of that particular card may contribute to that. You don't see QV playing with her children so intimately.
