Here is another political cartoon (this one is of Nicholas) from the contemporary issue of the Philadelphia Inquirer. It's interesting because from it you can see how westerners felt about the Russian revolution (this was before the bolsheviks took over, I think).
Only later, I believe, after the bolsheviks took over Russia and the IF was executed, was the Romanov rule seen in a more romanticized way by the west...

I've ALWAYS loved this one. I'm not sure why, I just always have.  

Also, a question. Remember the movie "Nicholas and Alexandra?" When the family was at Livadia, someone showed Nicholas a cartoon. I won't discribe it, it wasn't really G rated, but was it a real cartoon?

Yes, I beleive it was a real propaganda piece passed around.
