Whoever it is.... they seem closer to Alix's age than the girls...and there's hats in the corner...this is the 2nd Lavardia photo I have seen with hats in a coroner??

Are there any photos anywhere of Alix smiling so her teeth can be seen? I know it sounds a bit silly, but I have always wondered what her teeth looked like! I just saw Nicholas for the first time yesterday in a photo someone had put up..nothing like I imagined. lol!

I ran across this image and was startled to see a toothy Alex...it was new for me at least.

Since everyone commenting on this is surprised at Alexandra's casual appearance, here's my thought. I think she's pointing to her new, enamel teeth. She had very state of the art teeth replacements, and she is showing them off in this pic, I suspect.

for years  I though she was eating a carrot!in this photo  lol! ...but that's her finger. She had fairly large hands .

I think that HerrKaiser could be right. She looks as she was very happy of her new set of teeth...Or maybe it's only to show - like a sort of joke - that she is laughing widely and showing her teeth. Since she wouldn't smile so currently at pics, she could be making a joke about that fact.

I noticed Tatiana is wearing roller skates in that pic!  blessOTMA, a carrot, that's funny! I can see why you thought that! It does look like she's showing off her teeth...Really makes Alix look like a totally different person!

Since OTMA have been getting so many close-ups in their photo-thread, I thought it only fair to post some of Alexandra.

What a nice idea to post croppings of Alix here. I think she had something between Anastasia and Tatiana in her face. Not totally Tatiana, for she had also a mix of her great-granny, Maria Alexandrovna. But yes, Alix was very similar to Anastasia and Tatiana when younger.
