the boyhood photos of these two brothers are truly the most engaging and cute of any royal family of the era. Just adorable.

Ah, that Gothic German handwriting! What's the signature below the last two photos. Certainly not Wilhelm, is it?

According to the site with this photos, the signature is "Wilhelm". Don´t looks so, but the calligraphy was an other, I guess.

You're right. I took a look at an alphabet of deutsche Kurrentschrift and duh, I had forgotten that h also has a downwards loop and capital W starts exactly like a small s! It's funny how it's easier to read (printed) Cyrillic than pre-WW2 German handwriting!

i couldnt agree more with you! also the pictures of Wilhelm with his brothers and sister Viktoria were cute as well in my opinion.
