The previous topic already totaling more than 40 pages, I think it is time to start a tenth. I have no doubt he is as full as the others because there are still tons of unpublished photos of the Romanovs to discover and share.

Those are great! I have seen several, I think Russian archives described each photo nicely - witht he place and date. Those at Livaida were taken in 1912/3, if I remember correctly. But only I got small sizes. Well done on making the pictures in bigger size while keeping up the good quality.

The soup one is funny. Why is he tasting it? I would think that it would be a servant tasting it, to make sure that it wasn't bad soup.

Nicholas always checked the food himself. He even wore the new uniforms for the military to make sure they were good enough.

Thank you for these photos, KarlandZita. I've always enjoyed seeing the different outfits of the female members of the IF, mostly of the Grand Duchesses, but I've always been interested in the dress captured in the 5th photo you posted. It looks very lovely! Wouldn't it be fun to see more of their dresses in color photos like the ones we've seen of their court dresses and a few summer dresses?

I like that dress of Alexandra's, too. I would imagine it being a sort of maroon over white or cream.
That is odd that Nicholas would test the uniforms. Does that mean that he would wear someone else's, or have one made for himself in the same style?
And why is Alexei being weighed in the fourth picture down of his pictures? I would understand if he was at AP in his bedroom or something, but on the Standart? ???
