A bought a book about him and his works a few years ago when I visited Denmark. A great source in photos although in Danish only !  ;)

That is a great picture! It looks like Alexandra might still be in mourning for Eddy (who died in Jan 1892). From what I could tell, it looks like there's Queen Louise, Greek George (with one of his sisters?), Queen Alexandra, Christian IX, Aunt Swan (?), Bertie, Waldemar, AIII, Marie Feodorovna, Christian IX, Marie Orleans and Thyra amongst others. It was probably when the whole family (or at least almost all) was gathered for the Golden Anniversary of Christian & Louise. Usually Bertie didn't go on the family visits to Denmark.

You are spot on !  ;) According to my Danish Tuxen book. The painting was painted in 1892. Although it was finished in 1893.

You can find it in The Sunny Side of Diplomatic Life, 1875-1912 by Lillie DeHegermann-Lindencrone. Her husband was Danish Ambassador. She also wrote In the Courts of Memory. The first book is located in its entirety online via the Gutenburg Project. I've quoted bits from the book in a couple threads on here. It's a really interesting book and she had a lot to say about CIX and Queen Louise. I'm going to try to get the other book.

Was this a newly published book ? Or was it an out-of-print book in English or Danish ?

I'm glad that everyone like the painting I posted! :)
They were visiting the museum to view  two statues of Alix and Dagmar.
Queen Louise and the people around her look at the statue of Alix.

And the group with Thyra and Marie look at the statue og Dagmar.

It's an old book--1919 maybe? It's in English.

The two statues are still in The Glyptotek in Copenhagen. I was in there last year when I was in Copenhagen because I wanted to see them, but most of the museum was under restauration, including the part where two statues were :(. Ah well, maybe next time ::)

I believe that's Christian IX's brother, Prince Hans. He was a very popular  member of the family.
