There's a thread about this somewhere, but it's been a long time since I've seen it. A member named Lisa used to ID photos in palace rooms.

If you look above Anastasia's head in this photo, you can see a 1906 portrait of Alexandra and Alexei.

The other pictures on the wall are too fuzzy and white for me to clearly idetify; perhaps someone else can.
I know of a few others, one that immediatley comes to mind is the one of Nicholas' desk at the main AP site, but I can't save it.  :-\

Here's another I just remembered about:

above Nicholas' head and a bit to the left is a 1911 court dress picture of Anastasia.

You are right, it is! Good eye! I think the 2nd one to the left of Anastasia's portrait is one of Alexei around 1911 in one of his little uniforms.
It looks like be picture next to the regiment one is of a lady in a bustle, Marie Feodrovna, maybe... What do you think?

On a side note, I love the vases of twigs and the plant behind them. The sofa Nicholas is sitting on is odd, though, it looks like it's made out of birchbark! I like the way the books are scattered on that shelf, reminds me of just any old family's bookshelf, kind of mine's, actually!  :P

I think it's this one...if one looks at the shapes of the light and the dark.

This could have been in the Spring when branches are brought in and forced

Here is one where you can see the 1904 (?) court dress photos on the wall as well as a portrait of Alexandra.

I think the portrait of Alix is this one:

Here is another one taken in the same room as the 1912 Alix with OTMA one. (what room?)

I can't recognize any other photos, but perhaps someone else can!

Oh my, you're right! It is so hard to see... You have very good eyes!  ;)
http://www.alexanderpalace.org/palace/zoom.html?pid=6
^This zoom of Nicholas's study from the main AP site has a lot of pictures, you can see the 1914 formal of OTMA as well as the 1913 (or is it 1906?) court dress one of Alexandra. There is a picture of Alix with a big white lacy collar by two of Alexei, (a 1910 formal is one of them,) also a picture of two of the Grand Duchesses, I think Maria and Anastasia. Second from left is half of a picture of Nicholas and Alexandra which is seen signed 1917 but I don't think it is from then... One of Alix with a furry collar from about 1894 is by a photo of Marie Feodrovna with one of her children... Second from right is the 1913 formal of Alexei and his mother. That's about all I can identify for now!  I'm particularly curious about the two photos of a lady in a folding frame by the furry-scarf one of Alexandra. Are they both also of Alix? I don't think I've ever seen those poses before...  ???

I'll look at that...the reason I was thinking of this thread was because I ran into this photo of Tatiana

and one can see a photo  from the series of  Alexis on the Standart. It's not the same photo ...but from that group
Looks like a stunning print

You're right! Wonderful photos, both!  :) I'll keep an eye out for any more pictures with pictures.  ;)
By the way, do you happen to know what year that photo of Tatiana was taken?

Yes, THE chair! Lol! There are literally hundreds of photos taken in it! It would be fun to compile them all and count!  :D
