I think the Translator missed to determine 'the gender' of the object ('She', in fact 'Her'). It is 'ее'. It is just another noun case of nominative case 'ei'. Well, I think we would need to whole context to figure out which is the gender in matter.
I appeal to the Russian expert to intervene in finding the correct answer. Russian is similar to my Native language, so I can understand Grammar a bit. Where's the verb form of Present Tense 'to be' , in fact , in this case it 's 'is'? I complicate the things a lot, don't you think?
