Yes, three of her sisters became nuns, faith was always important in her family, and of course in her own life too.

Family marriage rules were for the members of the house of Austria. Any archduchess marrying outside the house got a new name and did not belong to the house anymore. Widowers kept their title unless they re married.

With men it was different, the woman got the Habsburg name and title if the marriage was not morganatic; if it was, on a best case scenario,  they could under special circumstances choose a title offered by the Emperor.

It's strange, but her funeral made me cry... I think because I saw in these images the real end of centuries of history!
