She really looks as if she's expecting in this photo. I know she had eight children in 10 years but she never seems to look pregnant in any of her photos, but then again, many women of that era stuck pretty close to home once they started to show.

Where Karl and Zita at the wedding of Viktoria Luise von Preußen with Ernst August von Hannover 1913 in Berlin?

It is often mentioned that George V. and Queen Mary and also Nicholas II. were there..
But the german royal houses were not named as guests..

No, Karl and Zita were not there--at least not Zita. In the new joint bio of the 4 women (Zita, AF, Mary and Dona) a special point is paid to that wedding as the last time Mary and Dona would meet. At the time VL & EA married, Franz Ferdinand would've been the likely representative.

Franz Josef subsequently became godfather to Ernst August and Viktoria Luise's eldest son (baptised Ernst August Georg Wilhelm Christian Ludwig Franz Josef Nikolaus), and was on good terms with the Duke of Cumberland, so he would certainly have sent a representative to the wedding, but as immediate heir Franz Ferdinand was the likely candidate.
