On Ebay you could buy important old solid 14K gold CIGARETTE CASE W DIAMONDS ROYAL of QUEEN MARIE ROMANIA. On back there is a portrait of Missy with her diamont and pearls tiara. To open you have on the side button six emeralds (possibly). There are multiple pictures of her signature and the signature on the case is an exact match to her style (possibly).

Yes. The last time I checked it was US $ 360. I think at least go for US $ 2000.

IF  (and I stress "IF") authentic, documented AND with components as described, the final price IMO will be undoubtedly FAR, FAR BEYOND US $2000 !!!  But why eBay?  Many well-known international auction houses would be quite happy to have this item !!   Regards.  AP.

I agree maybe USD 4000.

I like it. It gives us all a chance not only the selected few. Also I think Sotheby's is allied to Ebay.

They refer to Missy as Motherdragra. A form of Mummy I guess.

I don`t know if it was already posted.  The baby is probable Ileana. I like the body language of Carol and Lisabeta ( 1 km. apart!!!)

Actually behind Mignon should be Crownprince Wilhelm of Germany! Curiously he is cut off the picture by the "photoshopers" of those days ))). The date is 1909, Crownprince's visit to Romania, there are many shots from the occasion.
And the baby is Ileana of course.
