I think this might have been a series with her Greek siblings and cousins at the seaside villa.

It was. The sweater and hat are pretty distinctive.

Indeed. The same with Prince Philip and her son Micheal. It may have been the same horses they were seen riding. Quite remarkable that they are still both alive today.

I wonder what Helen thought of young Philip at the time.

I think the hat she wore was more interesting. I think in the group photo, her sister Irene and cousin Princess Theodora wore similar hats.

Absolutely, this kind of hat helmet was very fashionable in the 20s, and had a different form of the classic cloche hat.

Indeed. I know a little about fashion but have no idea about this type of head gear. I think Missy & her sisters also wore them.

They did--there's a photo of Victoria Melita, Marie and Sandra with at least 2 of them wearing those close-to-the-head knit hat. Ileana of Romania wore them as well. A modified style is rather popular again.

Yes I think I saw that photo somewhere and it made an impression on me. They are all very fashionable ladies. Helen actually looked more elegant with age.

Or perhaps it is rather a strip of fabric (tulle or gauze) embroidered with rhinestones and sequins as often wore for the evening flappers of the Twenties.

I think it is the second description. It does not appear to be a tiara.
