The Prince of Orange set off to a special mission yesterday as he went on board the newest patrol vessel of the Royal Dutch Navy,"HMS.Holland" heading for Chatham,England and London.On board a very special item that will be on loan to the British
Maritime Museum from the Rijksmuseum,Amsterdam.It once adorned the stern of the British Flagship "Royal Charles" that was
captured during a raid in Chatham by Dutch Admiral Michiel de Ruyter in the 17th century while he destroyed the British fleet.

TRH will attend a concert by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at the Salle Pleyel,Paris this evening.
This season the KCO is "Orchestra in Residence" in Paris.Conductor is Valerie Gergiev.
The Princess is Patron of the Orchestra since 2005.

This wednesday TRH will attend the ceremonies at Lommel,Belgium for the children and teachers that passed away in the crash in Switserland last week.Six of the children were Dutch.On thursday TRH will attend the ceremonies for the children and teachers at Heverlee/Leuven/Louvain.

Today,monday,and tuesday the Princess will attend,and speech at,the meeting of the leaders of International Standard organisations in the financial sector at Basel,Switserland in her capacity as the UN Secretary Generals' Special Advocate on Inclusive Finance for Development.

HRH Princess Ariane,youngest child and daughter of TRH The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima celebrates her 5th birthday today!
The Princess is 4th in line to the Throne after her daddy and two sisters.

So finally the news is out,long after Greek papers already mentioned it.TRH have purchased a house in southern Greece,in Kranidi.
Good!!It's close by,not that much further away as the farm in Tavernelle,Italy where HM loves to spend her holidays,just an hour flight,
and in an area well protected as other wellknown figurs have a house there as well.Plus,plus it is a boost to the local economy,it
can use the clientele.Besides all that is is beautifull there and the white house reminds me very strong of Porto Ercole,once the holiday
retreat of HM Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard in Tuscany in days gone by but no doubt has brought back memories to the Prince too.Congratulations! :)

TRH The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima will pay an official visit to Brazil from November 19th till november 23rd.

The Princess was in Brazil the past few days attending a meeting of the International Finance in Rio de Janeiro
and HRH also had talks with corporate and national finance ceo's in Sao Paulo on micro-credit.
