Hi, everyone.

With some help from Laura Mabee (Frozentears.org) I've been working on a new educational website on the children of Nicholas and Alexandra. It's going to be a sort of companion to Frozentears.org, but instead of the media presentation it would be a personal, in-depth look at their lives with biographies, letters, anecdotes, pictures, etc.

I'm still in the designing stages but I was wondering if I could get some input from you all. What would you like to see in a new website on the children? Any ideas are welcome.

Holly, I was wondering how your recent trip to Russia effected your out look..I would think it would do so and in unexpected ways .

This sounds marvelous...perhaps put in chronological order? Or perhaps by theme? Like have a Stardart page, a regimental page?   Just  two examples of many such topics ..with photos , letters , anecdotes, pertaining to the given topic....

Thank you for this endeavor! I'll be watching for it!

I'm definitely interested in your theme page idea. I'll keep it in mind!

And regarding my stay in Russia, it definitely affected me in many various ways! I planned on writing about it for you and anyone else interested to read. I may do that soon as I have a small break at the moment. I'll let you know!

Please do . There is dreaming about doing  something and then there is doing it...and an unexpected experiance/emotion often crops up.

i've simply ADORED your previous site about OTMAA, and just can't wait to see the new one: how is the work going?

Thank you very much, Sunny!! I've been busy lately but the only issue at the moment is trying to get a layout together. I have basically zero experience in creating a layout, although I'm good with Photoshop. Hopefully it'll get made soon!

I have a feeling that it is going to be a great project. Ahm, if I can help you somehow with documents/anecdotes... on regarding the Tsarevich, just let me know!

Nena, thanks for the offer!! I will definitely be coming to you when I need Alexei information, I'm sure you have quite the collection.

Also, if anyone here has experience with creating layouts I'd be extremely grateful for any help, so PM me if you're interested! Perhaps we could work it into a collaborative effort...

Like Lanie, if you need a hand, don't hesitate to ask. If you make your layout design within Photoshop (just what you want it to look like) I can work on coding it.

Holly I think your wedsite sounds awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really excited.

I have 2 suggestions that you might want to take into consideration:
1: PICS PICS PICS (and a bunch of quotes/letters)
and
2:I love to read about before the war and how much fun they had before the war started. I know you had mentioned anecdotes, so you could do a bunch of those, from before the war . . . I know that I'd definitely read those, even if I had no idea who OTMAA was and just stumbled across that accidently.

PS. I'm not familiar with your other website (I don't think, at least). Could you post or PM me the link? Thanks!!!
