Plays performed by the Imperial Family

And who is 'Valya D.'?

Prince Dolgoruky (which I've probably spelled wrong -- I can't seem to ever get that man's name right)

If I'm not wrong, I think that you have spelled it right.  ;)

I never found the diary for 1912. Does anyone read it? Is it anywhere available (in russian)?
That Nicholas' diary exist. There is his diary entry on October 5th 1912, during Spala crisis.

I have known Stephen de Angelis has translated the diaries of Nicholas II. Here is a short note on a lecture that he delivered last month:

Does anyone happen to have August 10, 1911 from Nicholas' Diary?  We have a luncheon menu for that day of his, and are quite curious where he was (I'm pretty sure Tsarskoye Selo) and who might have had lunch with him that day.

Tsar Nicholas' 1911 diary was published in Moscow recently. I have not yet received my copy, but perhaps some other forum member has...
"The Correspondence of the Empress Alexandra of Russia with Ernst Ludwig and Eleonore, Grand Duke and Duchess of Hesse. 1878-1916"
"Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig and Princess Alix of Hesse and by Rhine in Italy - 1893"
"Ludwig IV, Grand Duke of Hesse and by Rhine - Gebhard Zernin's Festschrift"

Well, I picked up my copies of Tsar Nicholas' 1905-1918 diaries in Amsterdam earlier today.

August 10, 1911 (Old Style) : Nicholas had returned from Krasnoe Selo to Peterhof around 00h30. At 9h30 he, Olga and Alexei left for Krasnoe Selo, where they spent a considerable part of the day reviewing troops etc. He lunched with officiers of the units he had just reviewed at 12h30, had 'obed' at Krasnoe Selo at 7 o'clock and went to a theater there. He returned to Peterhof shortly after midnight. Nicholas did not mention any names of people with whom he had luncheon on this day.

In "The Romanov Sisters" Helen Rappaport mentions that when the family went East Nicholas had a box full of his old diaries and he would read them when he felt like remembering happier times and that Alexandra wrote to Lili Dehn expressing her regret for burning hers.

I was wondering how he was able to have them with him beyond the Alexander Palace. Didn't the Provisional Government take all their papers to look for signs of treason or was that only with Alexandra?

Was "Olga" Olga Nikolaevna, or Olga Alexandrovna?

Nicholas didn't specify which Olga he meant. Based on the context and his diary notes for the preceding days, I think it was Olga Nikolaevna.
