The Karadjordjevic (Karageorgevitch) is a Serbian ruling dynasty descended from Karadjordje. They had a long feud with the Obrenovic dynasty. The dynasty lost the throne in November 1945 when Yugoslavia became a republic.
The ruling members were:
Karadjordje Petrovic (r. 1804-1813)
Prince Alexander Karadjordjevic of Serbia (r. 1842-1858)
King Peter I of Serbia (r. 1903–1921)
King Alexander of Yugoslavia (r. 1921–1934)
King Peter II of Yugoslavia (r. 1934-1945)
Between Karadjordje Petrovic and Alexander and between Alexander and Peter I, Serbia was ruled by the Obrenovic dynasty.
