Thanks a lot for the picture, RomanovMartyrs! It seems to me that her diary entries seem longer than the English translations.

Amazing colored fotos  by the most wonderful Yelena Aleksandrovna. Endless thank you very much!

Anatoly Mordvinov was Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich's former Adjutant, after which time, during March 1913, he became a Fligel-Adjutant in the Imperial Suite.

Wow - thank you a lot, Belochka!!! At least, I read it well. Well, I think English translations are as same as long like Russian originals. Only letters are wider so it makes sentences and text 'longer'.

I wonder why she wrote Mordvinov’s name on the right topmost portion of both pages.

When Nikolai II was present at the Alexandrovsky Dvoretz, Anatoly Mordvinov was one of the officers who stood in attendance immediately outside the Emperor's study.

Hey, I came across this, I guess it is a monogram or something, but each of the Grand Duchesses had one it seems. It has their first initial and an "H". What is this "H" for and does anyone know exactly where these were used, letters, papers, etc?  It is found here, you must scroll to the bottom of the page, as I do not know how to post the picture: romanovsisters.webs.com/mementos.htm
I would greatly appreciate any help with this!

That "H" is actually Russian sign for "N". So you see - it´s a monogram for every of the Grand Duchesses. ON - Olga Nikolaevna, TN - Tatiana Nikolaevna, MN - Maria Nikolaevna, AN - Anastasia Nikolaevna.
