I really wish people would caption their photos. Sometimes the backgrounds are just as interesting, and it would be nice to know when and where they were taken. its very frustrating !!

Sometimes the original source of photos doesn’t provide any information about a picture, so that why sometimes I can’t caption my pictures.

I think the first two are from Edward VII's 1908 visit and taken on board one of the warships. The Admiral in the centre of both pictures is Sir John Fisher.

I think I've seen the same sort expression on his face when he was wearing one of the Kaiser's "Pickelhaube" helmets...(is that the term for those Prussian helmets with the spike on the top>)

Nicholas looks younger in the first one... I'm thinking it is before 1912.  But WONDERFUL Photos! one can never say they have seen them all!
