The same. I'm visiting this wonderful site - i feel like a baby discovering a world pf new toys!

Not rare. Thats Gd Alexander Mikhailovich and daughter Irina. That tumblr says its Nicholas and one of his girls. For the record that tumblr post  pictures  posted here, so, they re not rare whatsoever.

Yep, the baby did look like Irina, her head is just too little to be Olga's.

I was guessing the baby was probably Tatiana, but since "1896" was written on the photo, that couldn't be.

I was trying to fix the tags on some of the photos! A few labeled Tatiana were actually Princess Elizabeth, I believe.

Burger queen posted the link to a documentary in the Olga Photographs thread. It has so many rare photos in it. I grabbed the ones that featured the Grand Duchesses, as well as a couple of other photos, but really there are even more in that video. I may have skipped a few too, but here's what I've got. From what I read at the end of the video, the pictures come from children's album and also from parent's ones. I don't know how many pictures are kept in russian archives but surely : A LOT.

I remember also a charming extract (real video from 1910's) with Olga smiling to people quite closely to the camera. I will try to extract it tomorrow.

I have to say a huge MAHALO (thank you) for providing those wonderful pictures - great work and I really appreciate the effort and time that it took for you all to do that!!

I saw these on the documentaries and was pretty much open mouthed with awe at yet......more unseen (by me at least) pictures of the Imperial Family - especially OTMAA!

Although I can't imagine that there are still pictures out there we haven't seen (those children must have had their every waking moment captured in film I think!) - I am so very grateful
that there are - because each new set of images brings some new insight or "feelings" about one or more of them.....just rounding things out even more for us all.
