Nice! I have been seeing a lot more rare nurse shots lately. It's been splendid.

Edited to add this: (Aleksandar T. found this lovely piece and sent it my way to share)
I don't know if it's been on the forum before, I looked through the first few pages of this thread but don't have a lot of time to browse (I'm at work ).
(btw! nice rares at the start of this thread Holly! hotdamn!)

Now I'm rather sure the girl at left down is Margarita Hitrovo.

I think you're right.

Now that I've seen the new to me photos of Rita on her thread, I agree. It's funny,  I was doing dishes when I thought about this photo and thought it must be Rita...because the photos on her thread show that even though she was so much taller than Olga, when they sat together, you cannot tell. Antonina , I'm not surprised you figured  out  it was Rita days ago!

As far as I can tell, these are rare. I've scoured everywhere I can think of to see if the Mauve Room one is rare, and I can't find it anywhere else so here it is. Sorry they're not very good quality.

I thought that I had seen the Mauve Room one but when I went looking the girls are seated different (Anastasia and Maria are switched) so yes, I don't think I have seen that picture. wish we had it clearer!

Wow, great photo! Nice and clear to boot!

Would this have been the same journey that precious film of the children was taken. The one where they race along the deck and play 'Ring around the Rosie'? Alexei was wearing his own little sailor suit instead of the white dress shown here, but I gather they could have changed him easily enough.

This looks like the Polar Star, judging by the mesh rails just visible on the left. The Standart's rails were solid, for the children's safety, and I believe solid rails are also visible in the film of OTMAA dancing on deck.

Thanks for the clarification ladies. Excellent observation Sarushka and, Ann, I think you're right about the ages. Alexei looked at least a bit older in his sailor suit in the famous video aboard the Standart.

It is to me...but why the red square? I can't quite tell what it's highlighting.

I love Anastasia's face in the Polar Star one.
