The only one i recognize of this image (beside Alexei) is Gd George Mikhailovich sitting next to the tsarevich :-)

I'm not sure if this is rare, but I came across it on Tumblr today and couldn't remember ever having seen it before. Of course I've seen all the individual 1908 formals, especially that really famous one of Tatiana, but I think this is the first group shot I've seen.

I don't think is rare..not for me..but it's indeed a lovely image. You can see how close they were even in formal pictures.

I swear that is  " the golden one" next to TN behind the piano ...( which looks like it's being uncovered)
Because I have seen that big guy  next to Olga with the golden one before . He actually looks cute here, but he's no Paul V. imo lol

What a fantastic photo, thanks bless! It's rare to have most everyone smiling. OTMA were naturals, but then again they had their pictures taken thousands of times. I always find it rather curious and often amusing how so many of the troops try to look "hard" in their poses, are uncomfortable with having their pictures taken, or are genuinely in a foul mood...but not here for once :-)

Thought I'd share my Dropbox account if anyone feels like perusing it. I couldn't find a photo host I liked, so I was keeping all the photos on my computer until someone mentioned DB as a good one. It's incomplete, but contains over a thousand images so far.

I highly recommend DB, by the way! It can connect to files on your computer, so you can update it just by updating your personal files. Better than Photobucket by far.

This is astounding.  Lots of photos I've never seen before, and I barely made a dent in the pile.  Thanks so much for posting!  I'll be back to look at some more when I get some free time.
