Could they actually do that back in those days?
Tim, they used a type of white out and wax pencils =)

This picture was new for me: Nicholas II with Tatiana and Anastasia in 1917.

BlessOTMA thank you for posting your scan. Both pictures of the Little Pair were new for me! =)

I have two similar photos that look like they're from the same day, but this one is new to me -- thanks!

Does anyone know who the people with them are?

I'm guessing members of the household as everyhing is relaxed and friendly. The second from right could be a doctor as he is wearing what could be a Red Cross armband.

A neat photo. Absent independent knowledge of the situation of those posing, you'd be hard pressed to know that this is a captivity scene; three arrestees and four smiling guards, posing like good companions. Could you conceive that the man third from left was the Tsar of Russia a few months earlier? He's so totally at ease. Most uncanny.

A couple here that I believe are new to me, and thank you for posting. The second from last photo down...whose dog is that? I definitely haven't seen this photo before.

Great photos Clock. A few of those were new to me, and some I had only just recently seen on Tumblr myself.
These two I also found while browsing Tumblr:

larri*  that captivity photo is new to me and I'm swooning...plainly taken the same time as the better known one were TN and AN are standing and without the Tsar...I believe those with them are guards. There's a number of photos with these men. I'm glad I could provide photos that were new to you as well ! Thanks again!

The photos with the flashes in the middle were taken earlier this year at the exhibit in Mossow about the family's death...( I believe they were under plexiglas)  and posted on the web...love the one of Imp saluting! She does a nice job of it!

Mandie, thank you, it was new to me, amazing. Stavka, 1916, of course. I don't know who would be the gentlemen. I thought of Count Tatishchev, but surely I am wrong. Laura, larri and Clock, thank you as well, some were new to me.

Well, I think that these are nice, full credit goes to the site written on the images. (I haven't been here for a long time, so most likely that these have already been posted).

Looks to me like the older man( in a suit) and standing in the photo of
Alexei Nikolaievich,  maybe the gentleman in charge  of the Tsar uniforms...looks like it anyway
