The mourning clothes seems to be very uniform. Mourning cap with white border (with long veil) and long sting pearls.

Who is her mother ?

[Marc]

The mother was a French woman and a friend of Prince Paul,Charlotte Cotillard or Cottier(don't know if I spelled correctly family name) whom he met and fell in love in France while she was a medical student in Sorbonne,whose father and grandfather were also doctors...The time separated them and few years later after WW I she came to Serbia as a doctor to nurse the wounded soldiers and Alexander felt the flame again...Jelena was born on 31st of December 1920 and died in 1998 in Athens.After his trip to Marseilles in 1934 King Alexander planned to visit Jelena and her mother!

I wonder how Mignon felt about that. She felt jealous of Princess Olga when she felt Alexander paying too much attention on her. A mistress would be harder to take.

She knew about that...but the girl was born before their marriage and her mother was not his mistress once he was married!They were living in Athens and he has arranged everything for them as his daughter was born with the purpose!

During WWI Alexander had operated his prostate and the court officials and ministers wanted to know if he is still capable of having a child after that operation and encouraged him to take her as a mistress when they saw that he was already in love with her from his Paris days...
