Great! I wish I could go. Does anyone have this watercolor or picture of Alexei and Anastasia?

Here is a picture of an array of toys, apparently taken in the Semi-circular Hall.  Especially poignant is the box camera.  I wonder whose it was.  Could it be one being held by OTMA in numerous period photographs?  They must have owned several cameras since photography was a passion of all of them.  Could this one have belonged to a specific Grand Duchess, or did they all share?  Anyway, I could not determine whether these toys will be part of the upcoming Exhibition, but I would suspect that they are.

A:  I can't see the image. =( ..and B:  it's my understanding each of their cameras had a name plate...makes sense when one things of it!!
I have wondered if  some of those Anastasia funny faces were  planted in a sister's camera when they weren't looking ...it would be a pretty  funny surprise when the prints came back! lol! Just speculation on my part of course

Summer of 1915, according to page 200 of Nicholas & Alexandra: The Family Albums.

Did you notice Maria on the bed behind Anastasia? Is that pic from their room?

There's also a glass of milk on the nightstand.

I believe it is their bedroom.

the camp bed headboard speaks to that as well  . In the movies Alexis camp bed is shown as red and white ....do we know what the girls camp bed colours were? ...I'm thinking blue and white, but don't know

It seems like I've read that they were all covered in blue and white ticking, but it'll take me some digging to verify that.

Edited to add:
The search was easier than I thought! Here's a post in which Bob's describing this photo from memory:

There is a glass of milk by the bed - this glass of milk was by all the children and their parents at night.  Nicholas was a big milk drinker.  The milk came from the Imperial dairies at the Imperial farm in the park.

If I remember right there's an ikon pinned to the blue-ticking cover of the headboard of the camp bed...

(I don't know if Bob had a print source for the color of the cover or whether it's firsthand knowledge.)

So, I guess the second floor of the childrens wing is indeed open!  That's exciting.  I can't wait to hear from someone about what that experience is like and how far down the corridor of the wing is accessible. I wish we could see the right wing after being vacated by the navy but before renovations begin.

The toy guard house... seems to be part of a set ( including the poles) from the Russian State archives
