Thank you, Nena. Does anyone know if that is Igor Konstantinovich standing behind (and between) Alexei and Nicholas in the first picture Nena posted? The young man's face looks familiar.

Sailor suits were fashionable for boys at that time, but I think Aleksei had a true fondness for the style. Perhaps due to a combination of his family's close involvement with the military, as well as their love for the sea and their yacht.

The swastika was not a evil symbol until Nazism. In fact, according to the wikipedia page, it has been around since the Neolithic period.
More can be read on the wiki page. The swastika symbol, during the time of the IF, was a symbol of luck and success.
It was only later turned into a representation of the Nazi party.
I just thought I would add my $0.02,

I knew that the swastika was a religious symbol or something like that but however in our modern societies the swastika makes us mainly think about Nazism, that's why I said it was disturbing... even if at that period Hitler was fighting against the French army and was just a soldier.

I've posted a link from the Jewish Virtual Library. It gives a short blurb on the history of the swastika.
