My favourite pic of Alexei is the one of him as a baby lying on a cushion on a lounge surrounded by his adoring sisters. Two of his pictures taken alone from that same sitting have already been posted on this thread. If anyone has it would they mind posting it please as I would love it.

It could very well Maria's siamese cat. However, Alexei also had his own cat, which he even took with him to Mogilev, so I wonder if that could be his own cat instead? Does anyone know his cat's name and breed?

About the cat in one of Mandie's pictures:  It would not surprise me if this cat was in fact the Heir's own cat, Zoubrovka, which accompanied the boy to Stavka along with the faithful Joy.

I do believe that Vas'ka was the name of Ol'ga's cat.  Again, feel free to correct me, since once again, I'm going on my memory alone.

Thank you for letting us know the name of Alexei's cat! If it was a Siamese, then that was probably the one in the picture.

Sorry that the pics look bad, there were in my OWN romanov album,..The pic of T and A is horrible,..I put tape on T's face to hold the pic in place,.now of course i can't take it off,..so it a pity. :-/
