where did Alix keep her jewels?

It seems to me there was some place - room near her bedroom where she kept her jewels, but I'm not able to find something in the topics, sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I believe there was some kind of strange arrangement in a wall or something?

Please use the search function before posting questions. This has long ago been discussed. There was a safe in the wall behind their bed in the Alexander Palace.

The safe was in the right hand wall as you faced the bed - that was on Nicholas's side.
