Pis'ma Tsarstvennikh Muchenikov iz Zatocheniya
« on: August 14, 2011, 08:09:04 AM »
Is anyone familiar with a book called Pis'ma Tsarstvennikh Muchenikov iz Zatocheniya? (Письма Царственных мучеников из заточения in Russian)

1998
approx 500 pgs
ISBN: 5-88932-004-1 or 5-86263-015-6

It's another collection of letters by the imperial family from captivity. I already have Pis'ma Tsarskoi Sem'i iz Zatocheniya and Pered Rasstrelom, so I'm wondering whether this book will contain anything new to me...

I might have heard of it on another thread . . . then again, I think it was you who had said something about it so I guess I was wrong. : - /

Sounds good, though. I might have to check it out. Is it in Russian or has it by any chance been translated to English?

It's Russian.

If you're interested in the IF's letters from captivity in English, have a look at:
Fall of the Romanovs
A Lifelong Passion

(Personally I prefer the translations in Fall of the Romanovs.)
