'Elbow macaroni'?

I am intrigued.

Macaroni to a Brit is short but fairly wide tubes of pasta.

Thanks.

In British-speak vermicelli is very small thin pieces of pasta.

I think it is the same in American speak.

I am looking for the thread that talked about "elbows" I know it read it somewhere on the forum.
Vermicelli is "little worms" of pasta.
