Diane. I strongly suggest you to use the search engine of the forum. Its very useful and there you will find lots of hidden treasures about the romanovs. And also will prevent you to make repeated topics.

Going to the recording itself, this is clearly some form of military parade, with Nicholas calling for three cheers in a fine parade ground voice.

He sounds as though he sang bass or bass baritone.

That's right. Father Storozhev told the Whites that Nicholas had a very deep bass voice while singing the Liturgy (from H. Rappaport, The last days of the Romanovs, page 160-61)

Thank you both for those observations....I also like hearing the type of review music the family heard a great deal
though out  their lives. It brings the many photos of the military reviews to robust  life

I for one have never heard his voice nor seen anywhere on the forum to hear his voice. I admit I am not the best in using the AP boards. Thank you so much for posting this, it gives me chills.

Diane, don't worry about repeat threads. Sometimes it reinvigorates conversation on old topics. Also it calls to attention something people might be interested in and don't know it. I figured there were no recordings of the Tsar's voice and didn't even bother to do a search on it. But because you posted it, I was able to discover this today. Thanks for posting it!!
