In my opinion, definitely not.  What is the known history of the piece?  Are the stones real?  What is the fineness of the gold?  What are the marks, if any?  Any evidence of an artist's signature/date/comments, etc., even on the reverse of the portrait?  Regards,  AP.

Gold and silver frame with 60 rose-cut diamonds, unmarks - from a estate.

Thank you for your speedy reply.  Assuming it is not a colored photographic production (it does not appear to be, but one never knows), on what material (ivory, etc.) is the portrait done?  Regards,  AP.

It looks more like Edward of England to me than anybody else. It isn't any of the Russians...

Not Edward VII either. The face and beard are too square.
