                                                                                                                Cute smile :)

Alexei with his tutor Pyotr Vasilievich Petrov, who taught him Russian.
I’m curious about what is written in that last board, can anyone tell me?

Hello and welcome to the Forum, Lotusperfume!  Most of the photos are well-known, but the drawing is new for me, so thank you very much :)

It's a line from Vasily Zhukovsky’s poem ‘The Lark’. It reads: At the sun dark forest reddened.
(Found this info via a Tumblr site.)

I think the writing on the photo (with the white outline), one part is the date, but unsure of the other part.

Never seen the drawing before! Thanks for posting, and welcome to the forum :)
