The Hanover/Cumberland boy sitting on the ground is actually Prince Christian, and Prince Ernst August is standing behind Duchess Cecilie - they have them mistaken in the Glucksborg book(s) - the boy to the side is in a wheel chair and that is their elder brother Prince Georg Wilhelm - he was recovering from an operation on his knee, which he had been having, and was to have, on going problems with since April 1896.

Marc, I don't know either, but they must have been close to the family somehow....
