The Grand Ducal Court will announce the engagement of HRH Heriditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Belgian Countess Stephanie de Lannoy (27)later today.Luxembourg will have another Belgian born Grand Duchess in the future..Press conference at the Palace at 10.30AM local time.The
wedding is planned for this summer.

Congratulations to HGD Guillaume and his Stéphanie, although I'd never heard of Stéphanie before today, they look very happy and that's what counts.

They know eachother for about 5 years,and are a couple in love since almost two years now.

A few more details on the wedding have just been announced by the Grand Ducal Court:

Friday october 19th:

15.30PM: Civil Wedding ceremony at Luxembourg Town Hall

19.30PM Gala Dinner at the Grand Ducal Palace

Saturday October 20th:

11.00AM Religious Wedding ceremony

13.00PM Reception at the Palace.

Too sad.

Countess Alex de Lannoy,mother of Countess Stefanie,fiancée of HRH The Heriditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg,
suddenly passed away - aged 70 - last sunday and was interred yesterday in the de Lannoy family crypt at Frasnes-de- Anvaign
in the presence of her family,the extended Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg as well as HM Queen Fabiola and
Crown Princess Mathilde of Belgium

Luxembourg prepares for a festive weekend as HRH The Heriditary Grand Duke Guillaume will marry Countess Stephanie de Lannoy
in a civil ceremony on friday and a religious ceremony on saturday.Tout Royal Europe will be in attendance to celebrate the couple.

TM Queens Beatrix and Margrethe II,King Harald and Queen Sonja,Queen Silvia.The Belgian King and Queen and all their Family,
as they are so closely related to the House of Nassau.And ofcourse all of Guillaumes collegues:The Heirs to the Thrones of Europe
and Japan as well as TRH The Duke and Duchess of Parma as Head of the House.

It will be aired live both on Dutch,German,Belgian and Luxembourh tv stations on saturday morning local time
which ofcourse is GMT+1,starting here at 10.45AM till 13.15PM.

Interview by German tv station ZDF with the Bridal couple.A very self-confident and more then nice Stephanie,she is
of the right material for her future role,absolutely.

I only regret her mother passed away so unexpectedly last month,that is a sad shadow on a otherwise
wonderfull wedding weekend,no doubt.

The Religious service,Holy Mass,will start by observing one minute silence to honour Sophies late mother
Countess Stephanie will also wear her mothers engagement ring,so she will be present,very much so .
Sophie wished to continue with the wedding as planned as she says I believe life continues,dispite
the loss of my beloved mother.She would not have wished anything else but to go ahead as planned.
