I am planning to be there as Hillwood has asked that I sign copies of The Grand Dukes and The Other Grand Dukes.

Will you have copies there or just sign those that people bring?

Russia and Europe – Dynastic Ties will be published by Eurohistory this late March 2013. The book is scheduled to launch the weekend after Easter.

AMAZON.Com, AMAZON.co.uk, MAJESTY, Librairie Galignani and Hoogstraten English Bookstore, as well as Hillwood Museum have joined Eurohistory to offer the book to their clients. Galina Korneva will be present at the launch signing books!

We, here at Eurohistory, have been working diligently to get the book out on time. Currently, the Eurohistory version of this book has nearly 15% MORE photos than the Russian version.

It is expected that Ms. Korneva will lecture at the Eurohistory Conference, scheduled October 19-20, 2013.

The Eurohistory version of the book will be priced BELOW $50.00!

Now back to work...

"A few chapters are devoted to the descriptions of the two-way influences between Russia and Greece, Württemberg, and Mecklenburg-Schwerin, countries where Russian Grand Duchesses lived as spouses of sovereigns."

Why is Sachsen-Coburg & Gotha not there? Marie Alexandrowna was the wife of a sovereign Duke...

Actually, Marie Alexandrovna is included in the book...

Russia and Europe was sent to the printer earlier this week. We are hoping to have it ready for sale around Easter.

So do the Russians!

The incorporates the Russian Imperial Flag and Coat of Arms, a group photo with Romanovs and other allied families, as well as the coats of arms of the dynasties covered in this excellent book written by Ms. Korneva and Ms. Cheboksarova.

In the USA the book will be priced at $49.95. It has 320 glossy pages and close to six hundred photos, nearly 100 more than the Russian version.

The translation from Russian to English was greatly improved (i.e. cleaned up) and several gaps found in the Russian version were added to give the reader a more comprehensive picture of the alliances the authors described.

Regards, Arturo

The other coat of arms are: Baden, Denmark, Greece, Hesse, Mecklenburg, Prussia, Saxony & Württemberg

I think Saxony means Saxe-Coburg & Gotha and Saxe-Altenburg?
The link with Baden is Maria Maximilowna of Leuchtenberg?
But why is Prussia there? The last tie between them was with Nicholas I.-Charlotte (Alexandra Feodrowna), the next Louis Ferdinand & Kira were in the 1930s after both empires were collapsed.

Wouldn't it be because of the marriage of Charlotte of Prussia to Nicholas? Pretty much all the Romanovs descend from that coupling don't they?
