I've noticed that "Sunny" hasn't posted in a while, like in about more than eight months . She was really active and sharp for quite some time. I, for one, would like to see her here again, and hope she's merely "on hiatus".

She was here last in March.  I've sent her a PM, I'll let you know if I hear from her, or maybe she'll post.  I hope she hasn't fallen down the same black hole that swallowed RHB, Talya, and bestfriendsgirl.

Back from the Nijmegen Marches in sore need of sleep, but otherwise in good fettle (only two blisters over 100 miles!).

It occurred to me while I was away that I hadn't seen anything from Petr for a while.

Thank you Ann. Your concern makes me feel like Griff.  Nice to know there is someone out there in cyberspace that keeps track of posts (or their absence) from forum members. Now if we could convince Alixz, AGBear, Elizabeth and even Constantinople (with whom I have had spirited discussions) to return to the land of posters the circle will be complete.

Hi, Petr. Nice to hear from you more substantively lately. Of those you're interested in, AGBear last posted about seven months ago, though she is still an active, or rather official,  member. Unfortunately Alixz and Constantinople have apparently deleted their accounts, the former for personal and family  reasons  around Feb. or March. The estimable Elisabeth hasn't posted in years , I believe, though I still have an irrational belief that she may again contribute in her usual erudite and uncompromising maner.

I too am sorry to hear that Alixz and constantinople have departed.

Before anyone gets worried about me, I shall be away from home for most of August and any posting will be intermittent.
