         Hello, and I hope that your studies are going well.
         Concerning the above quote (presuming there is no "typo"), if you are referring to the AP Forum in general (inclusive of all topics) and unless someone is using your name at your point of origin, it appears that you posted on the Forum a number of times in 2011 (March-December), as well as a number of times (mainly referencing letter translations) in 2012, April - July.  
         If by "active" you mean postings, I certainly hope that your communications are not being breached and that you see that you are getting correct credit for all your contributions!

I remember AlexP from Shanghai. He had a great deal of knowledge of Russian history, but i do think he was quite old. He spoke as if he and his family had moved the Shanghai just after the revolution. He lived in a Russian community that always sounded as if it had begun with leaving the country either just after or during the Russian Revolution.

As for Elizabeth - she has family things to deal with.. I talk with her now and then. The last time being in July 2012 on email. She also travels a lot.

Yeah, they had to ship it to a repair shop hundreds of miles away.  I still haven't heard when I'll get it back.  Hopefully, it won't be much longer.

I am very lucky. When my computer goes in for service it moves from the den to the kitchen table and then back when it is finished. (Usually takes no more than a couple of hours.)

My son is an A+ Certified ITech with a degree in Computer Networking Management. All those college loans are good for something!

Yeah, it's under warrantly, so at least they're not charging me for this.  However, as to why they had to ship it off, you're guess is as good as mine.  I mean the New Year has begun, and I really would like to see my computer again before it ends.

Actually it didn't cost me anything, my computer was still under warrenty.

It's good to be back.  I see we've heard from a couple of missing member.  Sadly, RHB is not among them, she remains silent.  I sent her an e-mail and PM about this thread, having a small hope it would bring her out of hiding, but no luck (I did this before my computer went into the shop).  She still doesn't answer.  Whether she WON'T answer or CAN'T answer remains a mystery.
