Photo ID Question - Might This Actually Be Maria?

I guess you could call this a Romanov pet peeve of mine. Every source I've seen labels the girl in this photo as Anastasia, but it looks much more like Maria to me. Usually I trust the sources, but I'm really unsure about this one. Anybody else think it looks more like Maria?

lol, it took me a moment there to realize there was an actual person in this photo...I thought you may have been joking.

Is there anyway to get a smaller image of this where the pixels or so blown up. Right now it looks like it could be anyone to me, although I do see where both Marie and Anastasia would be most likely out of OTMA.

I don't think I have ever seen this picture before. Where is it from? It looks more like Anastasia to me, but with the picture quality it is hard to say.

I came across it on Tumblr. Looks like the deck of a ship and sailing attire, probably Standart or Polar Star.

I got this scan from Lanie a number of years ago, but I know I've seen it in print since. Possibly in Alexandrov? If I recall correctly it was identified as Anastasia aboard the Kaiser's yacht.

Looks more like Anastasia in the far away shot. Either way that doll is terrifying.

99% sure that is Anastasia! That doll is so huge! What doll is it? Is it a chef or something? I cannot tell...

There is just something about the face that makes me think that it is not AN...I would personally consider it to be Maria, but it is difficult to tell.

Kidding. I saw that scan Sarushka posted, I think that it was scanned from a Russian book, since it seems that I recognize the cyrillic on the photo - what I want to say? That if the Russian book   says that the girl is Anastasia, it is most likely correct, since the GARF has excellent descriptions and they're rarely wrong.

EDIT: When I look better, I doubt if the girl was Maria...? But I have seen more often little Anastasia's photos on the yachts than little-Maria's.

In all seriousness, sometimes, it is hard to tell what GD it is in the photo, as they look so similar to one another!
