All papers here today were extremely positive of the Queens Reign, very much so!!
So deserved!!

Even in Parliament today all agreed HM did a splendid job and there is huge respect and ,well, love throughout.
We've all expected it for years that this woud happen one time, but now it did,it came as a sort of shock
still. But everybody here, really all,so wish for her to have a great time and do what and if she pleases,
her work as an artist f.e.,her being a grandmother of 8 grandchildren,if nothing else then they will keep
her busy

Queen Beatrix's abdication is part of a tradition in The Netherlands dating from the reign of her grandmother, Queen Wilhelmina
