I'll put the translation here:

"THE EMPRESS' GHOST
A long time ago, in Chapultepec Castle, there lived a lady by the name of Charlotte and her husband Maximilian of Habsburg. They came from Austria, an European country. They came to Mexico because, a group of men, the conservatives, had promised to make them Emperors of Mexico. They did not know that it could not be possible, because the mexicans would not allow it. At first, they did not realize how dangerous it was for them to be here, but when they did, they had to fight alongside those who brought them against Benito Juárez and the army. They were defeated and taken as prisioners. When Charlotte found out, she tried to save her husband, asking for forgiveness, but it did not happen and when Charlotte found out about Maximilian's death, she went mad and later died.
With time, the castle became a museum, and a lot of their things are on display so we can see them. Some museum employees and visitors, say that sometimes, during night time, you can see the shadow of a lady walking through the halls and rooms in search of someone and those who have looked closely have found out that it is Charlotte of Habsburg in search of her husband."   http://www.redescolar.ilce.edu.mx/redescolar/publicaciones/publi_prodigios/bosq_chapul/leyenda.htm

I largely disagree with the text; it has MANY mistakes, but what counts is the last paragraph. :)
This is my favorite period of history and the only two times I have ever been to the castle, I get very anxious...

I don't think it's Charlotte either. For some reason the lady seems defenseless. If it really were Charlotte, I think her appeareance would be quite forceful, like that, apparently, of Elizabeth I of England in Windsor Castle I think. People would know she was there; but then again, it would point out a serious non-existent knowledge of history, like the mistakes on the text.

Your translation is very good!! Again very interesting. Chapultepec Palace is an interesting place not only for Charlotte and Maximilian, also for other historic and interesting things, but of course the story of the mexican imperial couple is interesting too!!!
One photo of the palace
