Alice was beautifull & bright girl
no wonder by such a clever mother & handsome father ^^

by the way Victoria was also never very slank like her sisters Ella & Alix. She was a little plumpy aswell.

Perhaps its just me but i've always seen an astounding resemblance between Alice and her great grandaughter Princess Eugenie of York i don't know i think its the eyes or something, but i'm not sure, i've always just found a really strong resemblance!
Some of the photo's of Alice as a young woman are just stunning!

I think Eugenie resembled her father in looks.

Yes, Alice was a real stunner in terms of looks. Her only drawback in the royal marriage market was her morganetic blood and her deafness.

Her story's actually so very sad, in today's society the things that she had to desperatley battle to try and overcome would never have been seen as such a problem.
hmmm... i think Beatrice looks stikingly like her father, but hey, occassionally i'll see a side picture of andrew nowdays and think it the duke of edinburgh! I guess people see different sorts of things in different people!

As was her first cousin Victoria Eugenia until the 1930´s....

Like all the daughters of Queen Victoria. The Glucksborgs(Danish/Greek) family were a bit more on the slim side.

Prince Philip do resembled him greatly. The charm and the sadness though was evident in the father.

The resemblance between the older Andrew and the Duke of Edinburgh is very obvious.

Interestingly, Philip Eade's book 'Young Prince Philip' includes a set of photos taken of the seven-year-old Philip 'taking part in a biscuit-eating competition'. The facial expressions are just like Prince Harry at the same sort of age!
