Amazing, Tatiana Z!
The biggest surprise is seeing so many captivity photos that are entirely new to me. It's another reminder of how many unseen treasures might be out there; perhaps even photographs from Tobolsk that would show how the children looked in their final months more clearly than the available ones do. I think Tatiana's illness still shows in these photos: she may always have been the slenderest of the sisters, but she doesn't quite look like her 1916 self to me.
Another interesting thing is seeing so many photos of Alexei with the very short haircut. If it's difficult for me to imagine a grown-up Anastasia it's even more difficult with Alexei, but that haircut makes him look a little older than usual. It's like the beginning of the teenage phase that Anastasia at least got to experience.
The Maria photo on the balcony joins the earlier ones of Olga and Tatiana. That's a nice set, a glimpse of their everyday life.
While Nicholas and the girls aren't standing in a perfectly straight line in the 1916 photo, it's still a decent demonstration of what I've read about their heights: Tatiana is as tall as or perhaps even a little bit taller than her father, Maria has grown to be taller than Olga, and Anastasia is clearly the shortest.
