Aloha all!

Wow!  More new photos!  Thank you "Tatiana Z"!!!!

I'm lucky because I live in Hawai'i and it is still fairly early in the evening here, whereas most of the U.S. mainland is sleeping now!

Fabulous photos!

Blagodarim, Tatiana, thank you a lot.

Were those last ones taken at Bialowieza, Poland, in early 1900's?

That picture of the Tsar peaking through the window of the train is portrait worthy! And what on earth are Nicholas, Olga and Tatiana doing with those officers in the tall grass? lol, hysterical.

I also think it's neat seeing Alexandra preparing to take what appears to be a photograph of that gentleman on horseback.

All in all awesome stuff, thanks as always TZ!

Hi,

My guess is that it's Alexandra's cousin, Prince Alfred of Edinburgh & Coburg.  It looks like him to me - but it's just a guess..

It can't be Alfred, he died in 1899 and that picture was taken a lot later than that.
Could it be Carol of Romania?

I was going to say that it was later than for Alfred. It's not Carol of Romania either. I've seen the one of Nicolas II peeking out before but I can't remember what date was given. I'm thinking it's around the WW1 period though--please correct me if I'm wrong.

We seem to have a late 19th/early 20th century version of a photobooth in that Imperial railroad wagon window. There's this one of Nicholas II, now also Alexandra and the young officer, and of course it's framed Olga and Tatiana together as children, circa 1902, and I think I've also seen one of Olga alone looking most serious. I think there may have been others. It works; it frames and isolates the subject very nicely.

Tatiana Z and clock! great! Thanks!

My guess on the young man with AF on the train  is someone
who was interested in perhaps TN and that means buttering up AF   lol

just a guess
