We seem to have a late 19th/early 20th century version of a photobooth in that Imperial railroad wagon window. There's this one of Nicholas II, now also Alexandra and the young officer, and of course it's framed Olga and Tatiana together as children, circa 1902, and I think I've also seen one of Olga alone looking most serious. I think there may have been others. It works; it frames and isolates the subject very nicely.
