Stunning pictures all, especially the 4 profile pictures of OTMA.

As an aside, it's amazing the new pictures that are always popping up.  One wonders just how many never-before-seen pictures of the IF there must still be out there.

II know! I think about that all the time and I get so greedy because I want more more more!! But then.. I think.. I don't want them all now because I want to be 58 years old, log onto the net and see a new picture of my girls coming out of the shadows.

To the best of my recollection I've never seen a picture of Kharitonov.

And completely unrelated: It scares me how much Dr. Botkin looks like Lenin.

There is whole thread dedicated to Kharitonov on Servants section, take a look. There are at least two photos of him I am aware of.

Somewhere I have read that the whole Romanov photos collection contains ca. 150.000 photos in the Russian Archives, and given the fact that we have seen only between 5000 and 10.000 of them...

That's a wonderful info nena :) I hope we get to see more of them in the future. It would be great to find photo from 1900 to 1906, I don't have many informal photos from those years

I read somewhere that the profile pics were the artist's inspiration for the Mosaic Egg? ( http://media-cache-ec4.pinimg.com/736x/16/ad/22/16ad2208564c87a8a5595698d5dbdea5.jpg )
Is that true?

I have been saying that since a screen shots  of these  photos appeared a few years ago. That is in my opinion. The  Mosaic egg  carved portraits and  these photos are exact copies of each other . That they were taken for the art work  would explain how the photos found themselves in this album...unless it's a family one? That wasn't clear years ago ( perhaps 3? ) when news of it first broke.

I use to worry I've seen all the  the family's photos...now I worry whether I'll live long enough to see all the family's photos! lol
