Also judging from Tatiana's expression, and if Anastasia is anything like my sisters, she's probably adding a little bounce in there too, just to make it that much more uncomfortable for Tatiana!

When the bad quality version of the photo with Tatiana's face in the ground surfaced, I was like...what in the heck? Why is Tatiana's face in the ground? That can't be a comfortable way to lay!

But Anastasia tormenting her explains it.

OTMA in costume

Sorry if these were already posted

A couple of fuzzy screen shots  from this series of   OTMA  in costume I have seen , but most here are new to me

  " Astonishing beauty "  is all I can say  Really, I'm speechless.

But then, OTMA photos always speak for themselves  Usually I would post such finds on Alexander Palace Forum. directly
But Photo-bucket has "upgraded" and now it's much  harder to use,at least for me ...but more, one can't  get the
 full size posted from it

So I have deiced to create a post on my art blog so I may post these amazing photos on AP forum  in their full size as I have them
They  were sent to me by my good  friend, and follow Romanov  fan,   N N

Really? Indeed, it's been Romanovs and Brontës for nearly 50 years...both tragic and  isolate families! I've been painting Romanovs for 3 1/2 years. Now the Brontës want some of that! lol

Where on earth did you finally find good scans of those?

And where do you suppose they were taken? The upholstery looks familiar, but I can't quite place the room. Could it be the big pair's bedroom?
