I can't process this. Tatiana looks more beautiful than I've ever seen her.

I really don't know where these gems have been languishing for about 100 years .
A Romanov friend passed them on to me. It's good to have friends lol

Thanks for the room ID Sarushka !

I wonder if TN is wearing a wig...because AN looks older than 1912 or early 1913

How wistful  they are

I'm scrambling to catch up here...just fantastic! I won't bother to spend to much time gushing because others have taken care of that already (I'll do my gushing privately, lol).

Any estimates on the year? Anne, you're right. On one hand judging from Tatiana and Olga they look like they could be 1912 or 1913, but Anastasia (unfortunately the least clear of the sisters in these photos) and to a lesser extent Marie both look older. Almost like it could be as late as 1915 or '16.

Stunning photos! I love how all these rare and beautiful finds keep appearing after all this time.

Marie and Anastasia appear older, I would lean towards the photos being from 1915-1916.

Indeed...it's a couple and their 3 children ...but who? Not clear enough unless it's a known photo shown elsewhere
I think during theses are during the war as well . AN looks pretty  mature

Those are amazing - I am not an OTMA fan, but the girls look outstanding -- their dresses look like as if they moved to 1920's. My guess is that those were taken in 1914. Any diary entry to confirm that?

I honestly thought Maria was Olga until I saw the label. It's like they were taken in the last *possible* moment before the war changed their lives.

I may be wrong (and I most probably am), but this picture instantly reminded me of the family portraits Princess Margaret of Connaught took with her children. I think it might be them:

Aloha all!

When I first saw these photos yesterday I almost fell out of my chair!  WOW!

I particularly love GD Olga's photo.....I enlarged it on my computer and she looks like an elegant society beauty from around 1920 in it....easy to imagine what she would have looked like had she lived to that age....

The only time I can remember seeing GD Tatiana with such loose hair was in that photo with her and GD Olga...tatiana sitting in a chintz chair with GD Olga kind of leaning over it....they were much, much younger though and looked like they had just woken up.....I really wonder if this photo is her hair or a wig?

Dress up?  Or a play?  Since there doesn't seem to be a great deal of rhyme or reason to the costuming....I'm going with dress up time!

LOVE IT.....thank you so much!
