"Grand Duchess Kassy".......do you have another link for the one under your comment "I love the look on Tatiana's face in this photo"......the one you gave told me that my computer had blocked a virus that was associated with that link.....I tried it 3 times and got the same warning.

Might there be another link to that so I could view the photo please?  Thanks!

I love it so much because you get to see a most genuine and happy smile from her. Even Olga has a little smile on her face. Definitely one of my photos of them ever, even if it's mainly for TM.

But it does surprise me that Anastasia looks somewhat bored in the photo. I would think she would rather enjoy that!

Hard to say Anastasia looks bored. To me she appears to be biting her finger nails while this is going on. Often a tell tale sign that she's nervous, in this case, for her sister. My guess is that she's likely giggling under her breath here. Quietly hoping Marie falls in.

There's only so much you can tell from that side angle. A charming photo all the way around!

This scan is not My . My friend send it to Me.
Some scans are from Moscow archivs.

Indeed! I  so agree !

When I lighten  the photo of Marie with the swan, with a brightener,  it appears she is playfully feeding  the bird something
Her hand has something in its mouth ....and one can see she still has her camera as in the on the chair photo.

There's nothing like Romanov photos! Thank you again

Appreciate it.....such a wonderful photo, and now we have the photo of GD Maria triumphantly standing in the middle by the swan.....question answered!

Marvelous. What's so wonderful about the picture of the girls is that they aren't aware they're being photographed, so we get a glimpse at their most natural selves.

Oh dear! What has happened to the pictures of Olga and Anastasia (reply Nos 219 and 223) from Tatiana Z?! I can't open them - they seem to have disappeared.   :'(
