And that one lovely photo of our Maria - the resemblance between her and Alexei became clearer when Marie ties her hair up, imo! I think it's Anastasia who was taking the photos of OTM in that tea time! But why did Maria frown? xD I also think the one taken of Olga that time was just a stolen shot, while that of Tatiana's was a cutey pose!

Yes, Grand-Duchess Shandroise (about Anastasia being so pretty), that's why I love so much 1916 picture. They show very grown up grand duchesses, not only grown up, but really mature, different from the past. A turning year in their life and maturation, in my opinion.
